For crumbs:
Roll out the dough and cut it in to parts. Toss one part with the jam. Cover with the other part of the dough, close the sides and make small cuts one after another. Prepare the crumbs: mix sugar with flour and vanilla sugar, gradually add melted and cooled butter, knead until the dough drop into crumbs.
Cover the strudel with crumbs.
Preheat the oven to 200C and put the strudel in. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, check for readiness.
