3 l water
500 g pork ribs
400 g fresh cabbage
320 g potatoes
60 g carrots
6 garlic cloves
1/2 onion
Black peppercorns
Bay leaves
Salt
Dill
Place the pork ribs in a pot of water, cook slightly and remove the foam. Add the peppercorns, bay leaves, salt and boil for 40 minutes, skimming off the foam as necessary. Add the thinly sliced carrots and cook for a further 5 minutes. Add diced potatoes, chopped cabbage, finely chopped onion, finely chopped garlic cloves and continue cooking until the vegetables are soft. Remove the ribs from the pot, separate the meat from the bones, and place in the soup. Garnish with dill or other herbs when serving.
