Cheese and crab scones

Ingredients:

  • 150g crab sticks (cooled)
  • 50g grated cheese (Cheddar would be most suitable but Russian or Holland would also be fine)
  • 1 tsp mayonnaise
  • Herbs of choice (if possible, frozen dill and parsley)
  • Toast
  • Butter 

Preparation (30 minutes):

Mix crab sticks, egg, cheese, mayonnaise and herbs in a food processor. To obtain a coarser meal, use a rough grater. Put the mass in hot oil and bake until golden brown.

For slow holiday mornings, make a toast. Take two slices of sandwich bread, smear butter on one side of the bread. Put a slice of Cheddar cheese on the side without butter and put the other slice. Bake on a pan from both sides.
