Pasta with ham and cheese sauce

500 g pasta
250 g ham
250 ml heavy cream
100 g grated cheese
15 g salt
2 garlic cloves
2 g black pepper
Knob of butter
Greens for garnish

Boil 5 liters of water in a pot, add the pasta and 13 g salt. Boil the pasta as indicated.
While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a skillet, add diced ham, and finely chopped garlic cloves, and sear them off. Add the heavy cream, 2 g salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and add the grated cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted.
Serve the pasta with the sauce and greens on top.
