Light and airy strawberry tart

20 x 30 cm pan

600g strawberries, sliced lengthways
300g flour
200g sugar
180ml milk
125g butter, room temperature
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
Pinch of salt
2 tablespoons brown sugar

Preheat oven to 180 C. Grease the pan. Beat butter, salt and sugar until light in color. Add the egg, the yolk, vanilla sugar, and beat. Continuously beating, add milk gradually (if the mixture breaks, the final result will not change). Mix flour and baking powder, add to the batter. Pour into pan, even out, top with strawberries and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake for 50 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
